15 December Highway & Sanitation Holiday Schedule December 15, 2025 By Meghan Kelly General 0 Highway & Sanitation Holiday Schedule Related Articles Thanksgiving Holiday Pickup Schedule The Highway and Sanitation Departments will be closed for the Thanksgiving Holiday, both Thursday and Friday, November 24th & 25th. There will be no trash or recycling pickups on those days. Recycling will have to be held for pick up the following week. Both districts will only have one trash pickup, Monday for District 2 and Tuesday for District 1. Any questions or concerns please call the Highway Dept. @ 845.534.2171. Sorry for any inconvenience. Holiday Pickup Schedule Trash & Recycling will be picked up on Friday, 12/23/22 as normally scheduled. The Highway and Sanitation Departments will be closed on Monday, 12/26/22 and Monday, 1/2/23. There will be NO trash or recycling pickup on these days. District 2 will only have one trash pickup on Thursday, 12/29/22 and Thursday, 1/5/23 Recycling for District 1 who normally have recycling pickup on Mondays, will have a recycling pickup on both Tuesday, 12/27/22 and Tuesday, 1/03/23. District 1 has no change in trash pickup, it will be as normally scheduled. Thanksgiving Holiday Pickup Schedule The Highway and Sanitation Departments will be closed on Thursday & Friday, 11/23 & 24/2023, in observance of the Thanksgiving Holiday. There will be no trash or recycling pickups on those days. The Recycling will have to be held for pick up on the following Thursday and Friday, 11/30 & 12/1/2023. District 1 will only have trash pickup on Tuesday of that week, November 21st, and District 2 will only have trash pickup on Monday, November 20th. Labor Day Holiday Pickup Schedule The Highway and Sanitation Departments will be closed on Monday, September 5th, for Labor Day. There will be no trash or recycling pickups on that day. Recycling will have to be held for pick up the following Monday, September 12th. District 2 will only have trash pickup on Thursday of that week, September 8th. MLK Holiday Pickup Schedule The Highway and Sanitation Departments will be closed on Monday, January 16th in observance of Martin Luther King Day. Juneteenth Holiday Pickup Schedule The Highway and Sanitation Departments will be closed on Monday, June 19th in observance of Juneteenth. There will be no trash or recycling pickups on that day.
