NOTICE OF HEARING UPON THE PRELIMINARY BUDGET 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, that the preliminary budget of the Town of Cornwall for the fiscal year beginning January 1, 2025 has been completed and filed in the office of the Town Clerk as of October 21, 2024 at Town Hall, 183 Main Street, Cornwall, New York, where it will be available for inspection by any interested person during normal business hours, as will the exemption report.
FURTHER NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, that the Town Board of the Town of Cornwall will meet and review said preliminary budget and will hold a public hearing thereon at the Town of Cornwall Town Hall, 183 Main Street, Cornwall, New York, at 7:00 o'clock P.M. on November 7, 2024, and that at such hearing any person may be heard in favor of or against the preliminary budget as compiled, for or against any item or items therein contained.
Pursuant to Section 108 of the Town Law, the proposed salaries of the following town officers are hereby specified as follows:
Town Supervisor (1) $78,639.00
Town Council (4) $14,553.00
Town Clerk (1) $70,072.00
Town Justice (1) $38,690.00
Town Justice (1) $38,690.00
Receiver of Taxes (1) $21,366.00
