Grievance meetings are scheduled to be held in person with the Board of Assessment Review this year.

Grievance Submissions

Your grievance forms must be received by the fourth Tuesday in May.

There are three ways you can deliver your grievance form.

1. Drop off your form at the Cornwall Town Hall.
2. Email the form to assessoroffice@cornwallny.gov
3. Mail your form.

Grievance Day Scheduling / Appointments

Scheduling a Meeting

• If you wish to schedule a meeting with the Board of Assessment Review, please submit your grievance forms and supporting documentation 1 (one) week prior to grievance day if possible.
• The meetings are limited to 10 minutes each.
• It is not mandatory for homeowners to attend grieveance day, however the submission of your documentation is required by grievance day.

Taxable Status Date, filing deadline for ALL exemptions.

Tentative Roll Date & assessment changes mailed to property owners.
Assessment Roll available for review.

Grievance Day, to file a formal appeal with the Board of Assessment Review.

Final Assessment Roll filed.
